I went and cut the handle off of the rad cooler door on my WNW Pfalz D.IIIa. I then went and cut a slit in the end of a .4mm tube and soldered it on and then added a tooth pick handle which I had chucked in a dremel tool and sanded down. Reasoning was that it was probably a limitation of PE. I cant find a good pic in any refs I have. After doing this I found one poor picture that now makes me think I made a mistake.
I guess this is a long winded way of asking, should it be flat or did I do the right thing?

I think it was a simple welded T-handle made from steel rod presumably...

Okay, thats easy enough to fix. If its flat though then I'm in trouble. Thanks guys.
