As I said on your build thread, ONE of the Nicest Albatros Builds I have seen! Beautiful wood tones, the camo is outstanding, and your interior updates were excellent! A great build to follow along on, Thanks for sharing it with us!

Truly stunning, Rahmi! As Terri and Rick both said, your wood tones are superb. The D.I and D.II are my favorite Albatros types and this one is spectacular.
Cheers,
Bud

Very nice, congrats!

Beautiful job. I had just ordered one the other day. Any details on what paint was used to get the wood tones?

Rahmi,
It's a very beautiful build. I can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said about this one.

Beautiful Albatros, Rahmi! Great paintwork, and the propeller
is extremely nice. Very well done!
Cheers,
Ernie :)

What can I add? That is a mini-masterpiece - brilliant all round.

Spectacular Rahmi, congratulations on a beautiful Model!

I love the tones you have put into the paint work, it really makes the model leap out at you.

I say, stunning build.
Lovely wood finish, it's great to see an early Albatros instead of the ubiquitous round fuselaged WNW kit's.
-
Very beautiful build of a lovely aircraft design. Well done.

That is a charming one, no doubt about it. You have captured the feel of plain plywood and early German camo on the wings. I must say, I prefer those earlier Albatros versions, with single struts. And your model is a fine replica of that! Thanks for sharing.
-
Very clever work - looks absolutely stunning - I also really like the colour of your wood on the fuselage.

Ooh lovely. Might have to build my DI
-
Thank you all!
-
Stunning, plywood painting looks like natural.
Adam.

Very nicely done, Rahmi ;)
I must say, I like the DI, D-II and D.III typ's almost more than the DV series.
You have made a wonderful job with this Roden kit.
-
I'll reiterate what Bertl said: I like the early birds better than the later ones, and yours is just gorgeous.
Warren
-
Thank you Bertl, Warren! Albatros series are my favorite WW1 aircrafts and like D.II and D.IIIs much more than DVs too. Sadly i will not build Albatros this year :( SS D.III, Sopwith Snipe, Sea5, Fe.2b etc... :)
Thank you Adam!
Cheers!

Yes, this is a beautiful D.II! Some of the nicest plywood I've seen!
I look forward to your next builds on your list. We've seen many Albatri lately, it will be nice seeing some other planes as well.
