After my recent Salmson project I decided to take a bit of a break from WWI aircraft. I built AFV Club's Matador Mid-production Gun Tractor in 1/35 scale as a review project for AMPS, and also as a change of pace. I made the markings myself to depict a Matador from 1st Canadian Medium Regiment in Italy during the summer of 1944. This tractor is from 'B' Troop and hauled the third gun ('C') in the troop. The model was based painted with Tamiya NATO Black and Flat Earth was misted over it. Oil washes and dry brushing followed that. After I have Accurate Armour's 5.5-inch gun built, I'll do some further weathering on both models as a unit. The resin figure that came in the kit was painted with Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics.

Chris,
Your Armor be it soft skinned or otherwise is spectacular and this one is NO EXCEPTION! One comment, I remember you saying you were not so good at figures. I beg to differ!
