Hello everyone.     I was very  happy to see a forum for WWI aircraft.    I used to build balsa kits and plastic kits back in the 60's & 70's  and  like  many lost touch with the hobby over the years.    I started collecting 1/48 scale die cast  1930's Golden wings and WWII aircraft years ago.    WWI die cast selection  is very limited and with the demise of many of the main line die cast producers  I have started supplementing that collection with kits.    Will post a few pics as I build and some photos of the museums I've been lucky enough to visit.

Welcome to the Forum, Ken.  I look forward to seeing your collection and your projects as you build them.

I grew up about 30 miles west of Philly, in Downingtown.  Where in the Philadelphia area do you live?

I actually live just across the river in south jersey.  I take a train into center city.   I can see the Comcast Tower employees  playing ping pong at all hours from my window.   Drives the traditional managers nuts when they see that.    ;D
