Cheers,

You have made an excellent start with this build, the frame is exceptional, as Bud asked, what scale is it?
Des.

Hi Bud and Des,
Thanks!
It's this model:

The structure is built with Evergreen plastic rods, and plastic stretched with a flame.
The Ply Decking:

Thanks Arnaud for the box picture, knowing it is a 1:48 scale kit makes the fuselage frame even more amazing, excellent work.
Des.

OUTSTANDING framework and wood panel!I am looking forward to your progress!!
RAGIII
-
Wow, impressive. I wouldn't have thought by looking at the framework that the kit is 1/48.
George
-
Excellent work Arnaud!

Thanks les amis!
Question: Is it possible that the wings' bands could be blue and salmon, this is a late!
Sorry for my bad English :-X.
Arnaud

Hi,
Thank you for your comments!
The Roden engines are very beautiful in their boxes.
Iwik: not wax, it's red plastic stretched flame and cut.
I really like the Bo'subject for the Mercedes engine, and I looked on the forum for the BMW.
This link (and others) is awesome:

I have health problems, my vertebrae that make me suffer..... :-\
Yesterday I placed the decals Aviattic. This is specific to the Fokker D.VII F.
This is absolutely awesome, and it is a great pleasure for me.
I bought another Aviattic reference to treat the tail. We can observe the pre-shading.

I must continue, cut the excess parts, and applying a softener product (Mr. Mark Softer).
I recommend without limitation purchase. This is an extraordinary quality!!

Hello gentlemen!
Richard, your decals have greatly increased my motivation! But, I'm an idiot, I haven't seen you was producing decals with white decal paper for rib tapes.
I put the masks and I paint in white. It's not perfect but adequate!
This is a picture with some of the finished parts, almost. I am very happy :)!
It isn't fixed!

Armaud,
Absolutely stunning skiil and craftsmanship my friend. This project is a more than fitting tribute to you Master Level Talent. Amazing details too. Honestly if I hadn't read she was a 1/48 scale Roden kit beforehand I would have believed you were working in 1/32 scale. Well Done !
Keep up the excellence my friend.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Simply beautiful Arnaud. Glad you are back on this.
-
I had to go back to the beginning of the thread to remind myself that this is the 1/48th Roden kit and not a WNW and Aviattic 1/32nd version. Beautiful work all around!!
RAGIII

Hi and thank you for your nice comments! :)
RAGIII I indicated the scale in the title!
Work continues with wings almost completed

The lower wing is permanently installed.

I look at how the upper wing will position itself, without glue. I feel it will be too low. What do you think?
Arnaud
-
Very nice! I can't see any problems with the height of the upper wing.
Borsos
-
Beautiful work Arnaud, it's really coming together in spectacular fashion!
Cheers,
Lance
-
Looks Great! The wing height is tough to judge but looks close to me. The MGs were in a higher mount on the F version so should be good.
RAGIII
-
Go Naimbs go!
very nice stuff, the result is brillant
congratulations!
Xan
-
that is very impessive build!
I will follow
regards
K
-
This is a relly astonishing detailing. My congratulations on your work.
Giuseppe
-
Fantastic work! :)
Though, honestly, I think the upper wing does sit a bit low judging from the photographs...
-
Thank you very much! It is a dihedral problem of the wing. Its good :)
-
Looks great to me!!
