Very nice work so far Iwik, looking forward to seeing the paint applied.

The screen is a great idea for the stitching! Why didn't I think of that? Now I know what I need to do for my current build.

I think I may try to give this a go rather the spending money on a resin cockpit. I will be using your pictures for future reference. Thank you.

Nice scratch work...

Beautiful wood work on the inside of the fuselage and on the seat, you are moving along really well with this model.

I'll echo the comment about using the screening for stitching. That's a great idea. It's good to see a Bishop build too.
Cheers,
Chris

Remarkable work on the details, Iwik! You're doing an amazing job dressing up the old girl.
Cheers,
Bud

Very nice painting. The woodwork and the chipped paint on the metal looks great.

Hello gentlemen,
Nice work !!
Je me trompe ou tu aimes cet avion ? ;)
Best regards.
Alain.

Beautiful woodgrain, Iwik. The various parts are looking very well done.
Great Progress. :)
Cheers,
Ernie :)

The sideboards that have the planks at an angle did you use individual strips to make that or one of the special sheets from Evergreen. Seem to remember seeing sheets of something similar in the local hobby store. Think they were meant for railroad hobbyists.

Your scratch built interior is awesome! As others have said the wood grain and detail work is excellent! OUTSTANDING work, One thing about a retro build thread is that we know just how great it turned out but seeing the process helps give us ideas for our own future builds!

Great Thread Iwik, I'm going to be doing the same sort of thing to the Hobby Craft Kit very soon, this will be invaluable reference material. Many Thanks!
Cheers,
Lance

Hi y'all!
DERRICK: for the planks I just used an evergreen sheet on which I carved the stripes. Much easier...
Icarroll: looking forward!

PS See you soon with a Sopwith 1B1!

Lovely work, Iwik, one of my favourite subjects. You've done a great job of "breaking up" that overall silver finish and the details added to a very basic Kit really stand out. beautiful Model!
Cheers,
Lance

Really nice work...especially the finish and the weathering.
-
Hello gentlemen,
I really like your paint touch !!! ;)
Friendly.
Alain.

She's truly stunning, Iwik! I love the shading and weathering. As Lance said, really adds interest to an overall aluminum scheme.
Cheers,
Bud

What a tremendous build Iwik, what talents and skills!
Kind regards

Fantastic. Love the whole build and especially the painting.

This looks absolutely stunning Iwik, the finish you have achieved on this model is excellent, I have a few of these in my stash so might have to pull them out soon, well done.

Fantastic work and paint Iwik.

Hello Iwik:
You have done a magnificent job on this less than stellar kit. The care and quality of your work is truly outstanding. The finish, as has been mentioned, is a great example of how to break up an overall silver finish without it looking broken up. Like Lance, this is on my list and I will be referring back to this build when I tackle mine.
Thanks for posting.
