Absolutely gorgeous, Arnaud! Your camouflage is extraordinary. Did you use a sponge? I'll bet she had a fantastic roll rate with those short wings.

Confirmed! Perfect scheme and really convincing!
Best regards!

Spectacular. The autumn leaf camo is very convincing. I would join the question about the technique used. I built once a 1/72 model of this aircraft but my camo made using a short-hair brush falls far away from what you achieved.
-
Thank you all for your comments . It is much appreciated!
For camouflage , I use a small piece of sponge with paint that is not diluted. I applied to a piece of cardboard and then the model when the result is convincing.

sponges are great to have good effects on the painted metal
Sorry for my English.

Brilliant modelling and a wonderful finish. Do not worry about your English as we can all understand you. Please continue posting examples of your wonderful work - they need no words as they speak for themselves!

Brilliant work Arnaud, the camo effect looks brilliant. What type of paints do you use when using the sponge technique?

Beau boulot Naimbs, and I agree in all terms with the previous comments!
It`s a rel nice lil`gem!
In my opinion the casting of the Karaya models is nearly perfect. I`ve the DFW late model in my stash. The instruction is somewhat sparingly but with some experience not really a problem!
Did you have problems during assembly with this resin kit?
-
Thanks, Naimbs, for the answer. Once again - your result is spectacular!
-
Des: for brown: Panzer Aces Dark Rust (ref 302), for green, unfortunately I do not know the reference. I am sorry :-\.
Sarcococca: The resin is high quality, no bubbles, the adjustments are very good, the conception is almost perfect. But the side profile at the level of engine cowlings is not correct.
I bought this model to a friend. There was no struts in my box. It was difficult for me for this step.
PrzemoL: if you wish, I can take pictures showing how I paint with the sponge, it is not difficult, but it takes time for a full plane.
A bientôt
Cheers

Thank you for this kind proposal, Naimbs, but I know the technique. You do not need to bother with taking additional photos. ;)

Very nice job. And I'm glad you didn't fall for that old chestnut (myth) about the banded fuselage camouflage. There were at least four variations of 39.01, before/after mgs fitted, black/white quadrant wheel centres followed by solid red, white outlined crosses etc but the mottle stayed the same throughout.

Beautiful work on a less Modelled subject! Excellent results with your sponged on camo!

Hello GrahamB,
Indeed, I think it's a myth, and the book "JaPo" shows this error, which is very unfortunate. :-\

Hello,
RAGIII and Terri,
Thank you very much, it's motivating!
