What a fantastic find, the top of the walking stick is a treasure on its own. The timber could be from any part of the aircraft, as has been mentioned already it could have been cut from an old control column but most of these were metal, it may have even been a wing strut or part of the fuselage frame, it is anyones guess where it originally came from but as is it is a real gem.
