Title: Hello From Canada
Post by: macsongli on January 22, 2015, 11:11:32 AM
Good Day Eh!

My name is Gary, and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada. I'm very interested in aircraft, and recently became very interested in WWI aircraft.  I am a paper modeller, and am in the process of doing (re-colours/re-draws) of an SE5, and a Nieuport 17. Once I complete the drawing, I would like to do a build thread here for my fellow WWI enthusiasts.

I have looked at a few tutorials on the is, and they look like they will be able to help with paper modelling too.

Thanks,
Gary

Hello Gary and welcome to the forum, so nice to see you here. I have created a new board to cater for the Paper Model makers, hope to see some of your work posted there soon including build logs, paper modeling is a fascinating field of modeling.

Welcome aboard, Gary!  Glad you've chosen to join our merry little band.  I've always been fascinated with paper models and recently downloaded a couple 1/48 scale WWI subjects, an Albatos Dr.II and a Caudron G.III, both of which I plan on transferring to thin sheet plastic.  I'm looking forward to learning paper modeling techniques from you.
Cheers,
Bud
