Hey all,

Well I am humbled that my first box diorama has just been placed on the Boxdiorama.com website alongside the work of Shep Paine, Mike Blank, Bill Horan, and others.

Hopefully, the Zeppelin gondola box dioramas I have planned will not be too long in coming into form.

Wow, congrats Michael.  As I said in my introduction, my primary motivation in modelling is to build dioramas, so Shep's dio book is my modelling bible which of course then means I have plans for some box dios of my own in the future, so, I have perused boxdioramas many times myself.

Wasn't it you I heard from a couple weeks back about a show in Baltimore...which turns out to be an art show?

Wow, that's fantastic Mike! Nice work on the 120mm figgys, and one of my fav old school weapons- the longbow. Do you work exclusively in 120mm of move around so to say?

Yup, that was me.  My wife and I may go to the show (we are big fans of artisan made items) but she might be out of town.  If so, I may go on my own, not sure yet.

25 years singing opera internationally. Now that's one thing I would of loved to have had on my CV  ;)

@ Mike....thanks, man! Truth be told I haven't done all that many figures but plan to get deeper into it this year....if time allows. I have two more box dioramas planned in 120 but am also planning a bunch of stuff in 90mm. But I am also working on some armor dioramas in 1:35 and have a few things planes to go along with the WnW kits. So... I guess I am what the railroad folks call a rubber gauge-er.

@Matt...well come on down. The ACC show in Baltimore is the largest of its type. A lot of the top fine craft artists in the country will be there. It would be great to meet you. http://shows.craftcouncil.org/baltimore

@ Bud, thanks pal. The Samurai dio is on hold as is the one of the two knights jousting. Hope to have the former done of the big MFCA show in May but Chicago in October is more likely. This is your fault, of course. It was you who led me down the fabric path to WWI aero.
