Need to raise some capital (the Felixstowe won't buy itself and I need some more D.VIIs.......), so the time has come to admit that this lovely thing is not going to get built by me, at least in this life.
This is the original iteration of the kit (I think) and complete and un-molested - apart from the plastic fuselage side frame mouldings being carefully cut from their sprues (just had to see how big the thing would be!). Will be sent in original outer shipping box.
I've been tracking sales of the kit on ebay and the average price over eight actual completed sales in recent months is $483 (highest $565, lowest $400). I'd like to sell it to one of our members here with minimum hassle, and quite quickly, so I "only" want GBP £254.00 (equivalent to $400 according to today's XE rate) plus shipping at cost to anywhere from France (insured and signed for - for obvious reasons). Payment in GBP by Paypal. Given the forgoing is a deliberately "sensible" price, I'm not asking for offers, please.
I will put it up on ebay in a couple of weeks, with a $400 reserve, if nobody wants it here.

well i want it, but it is a matter of fundage, i doubt i will be able to take advantage of this quite fair deal but i will see what i can do.

The best price we have managed to get is €89 euros plus around €5 on top for insurance, so say €94 all in, which is about what I'd expected as it's a hefty 4.5kg package. This was from the parcel company's website, so will double check at the Post Office tomorrow. Worst price was from UPS who wanted ....€487 euros - Unbelievable!!
