I have been building plastic models for 50 years and have never built a WW I aircraft. Most of what I have built is 1/32 scale USN and USMC WW II and modern aircraft. I also build modern USMC armor. Recently I received 2 Wing Nut Wings aircraft in a trade and was blown away by the attention to detail. The instructions and overall quality of these kits is incredible. This is a new adventure for me and I look forward to visiting this website for guidance and inspiration.
I am married, have 4 grown children and our first grandson is 7 months old. My wife and I live on a small ranch on the backside of USMC Base Camp Pendleton. I served as a Warrant Officer in the Marine Corps Reseve. (Engineers and Light Armored Infantry) but my eyes are always looking to the sky.
6 years ago a buddy and I started the Temecula Valley Model Club. We have over 100 members and meet once a month. Every October we host a big BBQ at the ranch. It’s a swap meet, beer tasting, watching college football (Go Ducks) and a chance to see what everyone is working on. We are on Facebook.
That’s about it, I wish you all, Happy Modeling and Peace

Gunner, welcome from an old Swabbie! I remember your posts on Hyperscale, where I posted as mayonardo. Don't go there much now. This has become home. You can see some of my Wingnuts Wings build reviews on the IPMS USA website (Michael Scott).
You are going to love these kits and the people who visit here.
Welome aboard.

Thank you all for welcoming me aboard. I see that this group is representing many countries and yet the common theme is aircraft from about 100 years ago.
