Title: Squadron Online Sale
Post by: RAGIII on December 06, 2014, 10:32:29 PM
I received a notice on a current Squadron Online only sale. Saw 40% off on Roden so checked out the 1/32nd kits. For any who haven't given up on Roden kits not bad pricing: $40.80 to $46.80 depending on the kit.

no connection to Squadron just passing this on.

That seems to be the price that they always have been at. To me, the best they ever did was with the encore kits, at 25.00 on sale in the old flyer.  I still check them out, but really wonder where some of their prices come from.

Yeah, I saw the 40% off deal too, went there to look for some more Fokker D.VII's for my planned "batch build", but looked at the prices and though "WAT?".  I relaize it's been a few years since I bought a Roden kit, but these prices seem to me to be the regular prices. Nothing special, at least for my scale.

I have to agree about the Encore sale although the price on that sale actually went as low as $19.95 in the end  8) The Eduard PE alone was worth that price. Wish I had picked up more than I did  :'( Still the cost at Squadron is slightly lower than Roll Models:

Warren, I was surprised to see the suggested retail on the Albatros DV in 1/72nd was $13.00. It was showing $5.00 which IIRC is about $2.00 and change less than their normal price. Like I said, No affiliation just passing along the info.
