I need a complete set of 1:32 early style German crosses (white outline for fuselage and tail), as well as solid black for wing bottoms. These will be going on an Albatros D.III, so any Albatros decals you may have left over from a WNW set is really what I’m after. I certainly don’t intend to use the lousy kit decals (Roden kit), and am not interested in other manufacturers decals either at this time, just WNW decals, as they are the best.

How about a set of masks, Kevin?
-
I'm not sure I'm up to masks, Bo, I'm a decal kind of guy, though I'll paint the wood grain on the fuselage instead of the decals I've seen used for that.
-
Kevin.
Just a thought.
You might consider one of WNW's seperate decal sets too either second hand or new. The plus of this is you get most the other decals as part of it. Instruments, placards etc as well as the national markings.

That would work for me, Keith. I'm just trying to keep expenses down as much as I can, or I'd just order some directly from WNW. As it is, I'll end up spending more on AM than what the kit's worth.
-
I know what you mean. I've a Roden DIII myself I'm collecting/scavenging/buying parts for.
FCM decals come with the national markings too. I've a set but not used them yet so can't attest for their quality, hopefully someone here might be able to say if they are a good choice or not.

I think I may have lined up what I need, as far as decals are concerned. (I just ordered the gorgeous Master Spandau guns today too.)
-
G'day, Kevin.
If that deal falls through then send me a PM.
Cheers.
Dal.

I shall, and thanks,

Just a small comment here; FCM decals are really nice and easy to work with. I used their lozenge for my Roden DIII. I have Richards from Aviattic but have not used them yet.

hey Kevin,
not sure to understand if you have already managed with your decals, but I should have some spare WnW decals from my Albatross and Eindecker. So if you are still interested just pm me your adress: I'll be glad to send them to you.
ciao

Yes, someone is supposed to be sending me some, but if that fails, I'll certainly keep your offer in mind. I was recently gifted the Roden D.III, and decided to get cracking on it. In fact, I hope to have it finished for a regional here next September.
