Sweet! Great choice! Now, let's get those naval lozenge decals from Aviattic going and we will have something!
-
Hey Eric, that is a cool choice. Did not see this coming at all. Since the W.29 sold out, I'll need to grab one of these..
-
wow - that one is a surprise to say the least!! Super cool!
-
Outstanding! Just went to the site and ordered one. Thanks for the heads up James.
This might even make me forget about the Be.2 for a bit! It is labelled "Christmas Release," so this might be the only one.
Cheers,
Bob

You're welcome, Bob. You can order it now?
-
TY James. saw this, pleaded with SWMBO and she ordered it...
So. So much for my resolve but I too was too slow to get the first release and missed it.
Keith.
-
Keith, where do you order this from? I have yet to see it on the Wingnut site.
-
It is up now!
Rob
-
Just ordered
:)
-
There is a Felixstowe in the background. I think I'll just take me one of those, please, WNW ;D
-
:)
-
I'll definitely build the W.12 in its prototype version (with natural finish plywood fuselage) as documented in the Windsock Datafile. Can't wait!
-

Can you imagine a Felixstowe???!!!
Wow....very exciting.....
Do we think they'll be more before Santa loads his sleigh???
Just passed it on to my Mrs. Santa!
Ho Ho Ho,
Michael

Looks like a great new addition from WNW!
Can someone in the know explain how the W.12 differs from the W.29 in real life (besides the extra wing ;)) and if the sprues are similar?
Andrew

anyone else notice the Fokker dvii (fok) is now showing as ' sold out'?
-
Also on the WNW page for the AEG is this new notice:
"Unfortunately tooling problems and production delays mean that this model will now be released in January or February 2015. "

Yep! It's starting to feel like Christmas.
This one looks lovely hope she arrives soon.

Yup, just noticed that. And another one's gone!
Eric

If anyone really wanted that Fokker D.VII (Fok) my local model shop has one (Modelcrafts and Hobbies Ltd, Wellington). They do mail order but it will cost a bit more than the WNW standard price as postage is extra.
-
Gee, that box art looks familiar:

So, given all the markings alternatives, how many l'il Fokkers ought one have? I can easily see doing six or seven.
And, my wish list now includes the Do-335, Ho-229, HB-w12, DFW, a couple of DVIIs...

I certainly hope so! Although I am excited for those of you who are excited, Not my cup of Tea so I am more likely to look at Older releases if nothing else comes out! Anyway a cool looking Aircraft!

If they are saying the AEG won't be out until next year I have a feeling that could be it this year. Saying that I didn't think they would sell out of d.vii so what do I know.
-
Beautiful work, WNW.
You keep secrets better than Apple!
Me wants one, Precious!

Whoa! I thought all the D.VII's would be around for quite
some time. Shows what I know! ::) ;D Now I don't know how
to re-arrange my wish list. :o
Cheers,
Ernie :)
-
Bravo WNW for such an unusual and enterprising release. The W.12 may not be my cup of tea but it gives me hope that other types less familiar to the broader modelling community may be on their way if I'm patient.
I am surprised to hear about the D.VII (Fokker) and wonder about the others now.
Best wishes
Nigel
-
Ho, hum. I was hoping to spend a bit of cash with WnW this Christmas so I hope there's something else in the works.
Cheers,
Chris
-
It comes to late for mine build. I can only do some corrections.

Disappointed! :( Not the statement release one would expect to celebrate the centenary year of the Great War. There could be more surprises still to be revealed, I was holding out to be sure before committing to the final order!
-
Interesting to see that the decals are copyrighted as of 2013...

The development time for each model is at least two years in round numbers according to Richard A
-
Just ordered one. :D
-
I am also surprised by the release of HB W.12, WNW tactics are really hard to guess.
Regarding to the D.VII sold out topic: actually it is a very clever business strategy. If I were one of the people who thought the D.VII would be available for a long time and had not ordered - in the future I would definitely make sure not to miss any kit on my wishlist, means would not wait with the order. ;)

You are right about that. I am seriously thinking of ordering the SE5a,Salmson, and another DVII even though an order like that is not in my current budget 8)

Yeah, I still had planned one more of the DVII(Fok) purchases but I guess thats out the window now; like RAGIII I now will likely throw an order to them soon to get a couple other kits that I am afraid might disappear soon (surprised the Brisfit and Junkers are still available - would think those and maybe the SE have to be getting low in stock?!)
-

Maybe that is why they were showing them in their "Featured Releases" Masthead. They may be low in stocks. Been awhile since those kits were on the Featured Releases page.
-
Hey, Have not been building any thing in a long time but did order the W12 today . cooler looking then the w29

Exactly, Rick, you got the point. As Germans say, "knapp ist sexy", that means whenever you face a limited offer, the call to action is much stronger. ;)
