Finnaly, i found some time to paint the pilot for the Roland DV.Ia. My figure painting skill's are not what they used to be, but i'm happy with the result.

I sure can Lance : the plaque reeds : "On the way to his fire baptism"
This Roland still has no personal markings of his pilot and unit. It is freshly deliverd at the front, so still, for men and machine, they have together make theire first operational flight in the War.

An excellent model wonderfully presented. The painting is in a league of its own and certainly much better than anything that I could have done.

A super piece of work, Danny. Well done!

Your Roland looks very very nice. Fine dirt around the nose and wings shading! Are these Aviattic lozenge decals?
Just one remark concerning the title plate. Nouns in German are written with capital letters: Auf dem Weg zur Feuertaufe.

Thank's guy's ;)
Are these Aviattic lozenge decals?
No these are the Old Propellor decals. :)
Just one remark concerning the title plate. Nouns in German are written with capital letters: Auf dem Weg zur Feuertaufe.
