Thanks for posting that Jamo, very interesting! My Grandfather was an Army driver in East Africa (probably not too surprising as his parents were German immigrants!) so I have an interest in that very obscure (to most) theatre.

This excellent book is about the same theatre of war but on water, not in the air. It's such a crazy story you'd think it was fiction!  :o
