Hi Everyone,
Rowan requested I post these pictures, so here goes, I hope this has been done correctly, it is (for me) a very steep learning curve, but here goes.
Please find enclosed link to the Otto Lilianthal glider, I completed this model about four years ago. it if from a French Company but it was only
available for a short time . The kit is a 54 mm model, The figure came with the kit ( I think ) it was covered with paper supplied and I "doped it" with thin PVA it was rigged with
EZee Line.
Regards Phillip

Lovely! What scale is it?
PS. Regarding photos, it is better to use the html code. Just type:
img in square brackets, directly after this(no space, no comma) the direct link to the photo from photobucket (available in your Photobucket window at the right when you open the given photo) and close the command with /img in square brackets, again no space, no comma. The result will be this

The photos are then automatically cropped to the forum maximum size but can be viewed directly in the original size by clicking on them.

Now that is an unusual subject. Brilliant modelling too, especially as the figure gives a good indication of size. I do like these very early machines - powered or unpowered.

Very well done Phillip, I really love these early flying craft and to see a model of this very early attempt at flying is great, pity the kit is no longer available, thank you for posting your photos.

great work on the lilianthal glider. ww1 aero published plans for alot of old flyers including this glider. thats my favorite ww1 publication due to all the plans and photos of cockpits etc.
