Hallo Everyone,
I am a little slow ..................... on the uptake! I joined " The Aerodrome " as it closed to modelers. I migrated to the "WW 1 aviation forum" , but now I have a blue elongated image of fighter aces from yesteryear over a note that keeps saying " back August , back September back November 1st, and I feel lonely and detached from fellow WW1 modeling enthusiast.
I can describe myself as sedentary, fat, myopic, struggling with MS so when I am not slee ZZZZZZZZ ........................... sleeping I make the occasional model. I love looking to see what is "new to market" and seeing what I need ( or think I need )
If Rowan is out there , or Richard, or Harry or anyone who knows me from other sites, nice to find you, its nice to be where all the " cool kids hang out "
Regards
Phillip

Hello Phillip and welcome to the forum, very nice to see you here. I'm sure that you will find many familiar faces here including many traders (Rowan, Ray, Richard, Harry, Vladimir, Costas, Jim plus more). We have some very talented members here who all are willing to share their knowledge, this is a very friendly and happy forum.

Hi Phillip.
Well hopefully you can take your boots off now and settle in. Like many I wandered in from elsewhere and never left again. I havent found such a good place to be with no powermongers or dictators. Everyone has opinions and ways of doing things but the difference here is we all respect one anothers.
Plus I've never met such a bunch of guys willing to share and help one another.
I hope you like it here as much as I do and stop travelling now your home. ;)

OMG !!!!!
You ARE all here, brilliant! Thank you all for your kind words of welcome, I have been languishing but now I am in from the cold, nice to see everyone.
Now for the business of making more models.
Shall it be the Special Hobby Bristol M1c or the Short 184, Tupolev G.5 or WW1 pilots made by "The Fusileer" Steve Warillow.
I hate the decision making process! Too many great things, so little time .
Regards
Phillip

My vote is for the Bristol. this one's tempting me and it doesnt even have crosses on the wings.
