Title: sopwith Frankenstein conversion question
Post by: Modelnut on October 22, 2014, 02:45:52 AM
Hello all.
I've been absent for a while. The summer months leave me with little or no time for modelling.
My question is it possible to convert a Sopwith Tripe into a Pup? Just a casual glance it seems the fuselage are the same. Could a Camel's wings be modified to look the part?
I picked up two Revell 1/72 kits of the Tripe and Camel hoping they like each other enough to make a Pup.
Thanks, Stan.

Erm, I don't think the Camel's wings are going to be much use...

On the camel I see lack of dihedral on the wing and different shaped tips. Thanks for the picture!

While I have the floor- does anyone remember the teeny tiny Fokker DV11 I made a while back?
I have something similar to present soon...

Are you aware of the new HR 1/72 Pup kit? It's getting a lot of good buzz...
