In this topic I would like to share how I make the basis for model.
I'll start with the final cut and painted plank :
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0019.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0019.jpg.html)
Now assemble the grid to connect plasterboard, in order to enhance the adhesion of glue:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0024.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0024.jpg.html)
Paper tape mask the edge of the stand:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0030.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0030.jpg.html)
To forming grounds I use glue for bonding Styrofoam facade panels (glue prepare by adding water into it :D)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0036.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0036.jpg.html)
The formation of the land (no need to rush, glue dries long):
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0039.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0039.jpg.html)
Take off the mask and wait for until completely dry:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0042.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0042.jpg.html)
The next steps are, painting, planting grass and execution of trees and shrubs
To be continued....
-
Cool , I'm really looking forward to this . What type of glue are you using ?

I used Humbrol no: 33, 29, 98, 103, 83, 80, 117, 225
The next step: grass, sand and ground.

great work

Thanks ALBATROS1234 and Des.
Today, earth and sand.
I take Earth from the garden, drying and sieving through a fine strainer.

I'm a total idiot in terms of make a diorama :-\
Watching your models I think that is not quite a true ;)

I use wood glue. It is water based and easy for me to control its density, when it is wet is white, and when dry becomes clear.

The rest grass and clumps of grass:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0026.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0026.jpg.html)

Next, tree and bush.
-
Tree and bush.
Materials needed to be done a tree:
Thorny pigweed (Teloxys aristata)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0002-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0002-1.jpg.html)
The leaves.
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0008-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0008-1.jpg.html)
With pieces of toilet paper and glue we form the tree trunk and branches:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0017-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0017-1.jpg.html)

With bush we act similarly:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0034.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0034.jpg.html)

The next: painting tree.
-
The application of the grass has certainly made the base come to life, and it has been a real treat watching you form the tree and shrub, I'm looking forward to seeing paint added to the tree.

Painting.
The first color Humbrol 82.
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0003.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0003.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0004-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0004-1.jpg.html)
Next the color of Humbrol 80, 150
At the end of a very much thinned black.
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0035.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0035.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0032.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0032.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0029.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0029.jpg.html)
Next leaves.

Shrub
I cut a piece of the grid with leaves:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0002-2.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0002-2.jpg.html)
Gently unfold on the branches:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0028-2.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0028-2.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0014-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0014-1.jpg.html)
It is fixed microscopic amount of glue:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0029-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0029-1.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0017-2.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0017-2.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0030-1.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0030-1.jpg.html)
The mesh of leaves is best to apply from the lower to the upper branch :
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0033.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0033.jpg.html)
The final result.:
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0048.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0048.jpg.html)
(http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/malutki352/Podstawka/DSCF0043.jpg) (http://s1101.photobucket.com/user/malutki352/media/Podstawka/DSCF0043.jpg.html)
Then the tree.

Martin

That's awesome, every leaf is glued individually. :o :o

That is an awesome result but it certainly is time consuming, one leaf at a time would be mind blowing.
