Here are the pictures of my completed DFW, it was a very enjoyable build and a kit I highly recommend for its ease of assembly.
A full build log can be found on my website here; http://www.ww1aircraftmodels.com/page50.html

Just beautiful Des! Such a visually interesting aircraft and scheme. The construction and finish are first rate, and you have applied this diverse paint scheme very well indeed! ;D Thanks for leading the way with the DFW.
Cheers & huzzas,

Thank you Martin and Bob for your very kind words. The DFW when released by Wingnuts drew very little attention, in fact hardly any at all, so I decided to build one just to see what the kit was like. To say that this kit was easy to build is an understatement, it virtually just fell together with no vices what so ever. The previous Wingnuts ultra tight tolerances do not exist on this kit with the fit of parts being near perfect. I was super impressed with the strut mountings onto the bottom wing, very positive fool proof method of fitting the struts, and the top wing fitted like a glove. I hope my build will encourage others to take the leap and get one of these kits, there are some really good colour schemes that apply to this aeroplane.

Hello Des:
You knocked this one out in record time and in true Des Fashion! ;) Seeing yours completed makes me rethink this kit. I like the scheme of this a/c and you did an outstanding on it. Maybe I can convince SWMBO I need another WNW kit for Christmas! hmmmmmmmmmm ::)

Des,
You've done it again, another outstanding model from your bench! Great painting, wonderful details, and an overall inspiring example of the modeller's Art. Is another Kit next or have you been digging around for a subject for one of your spectacular Scratch Builds??
Cheers,
Lance

It just looks like an excellent kit, especially seeing your build. I also like the butterfly markings...
I suspect the kit generated little buzz because it is so little known, hardly mentioned in the WWI literature. I'm going to post links to your build log on other sites to help stimulate more interest. I have one too.

Fantastic build - looks great and I love the scheme chosen!

Des,
Now that I've read your further writing about this kit and the ease of construction, I'm wondering if this would be a good candidate for a first twin bay, two place aircraft? I am planning on building the WnW's kits in order of increasing difficulty, so, still have a ways to go up from the Pup. But, you speak so highly of the ease of fit and lack of problems I wonder if this might indeed be put on the list after a few more builds are completed. And good news is, I already have one!
Wow....I'm sure glad Bud talked me into joining up here.
Cheers, y'all,
Michael

As always Des, you've done a beautiful job with your DFW, and it will compliment your other model aircraft quite well. With no tolerance issues, I'm tempted to give it a whirl myself at some point.
Cheers,
Chris
