Title: New Valom Kits in 1/144
Post by: rolanddvi on August 25, 2014, 11:08:54 AM
Just saw on the Valom website that they have released a Albatros D.V/Va and a Nieuport 17 Combo kit. In the upcoming tab they have a DR.1 in the works. WOW!! Looks like our part of the modeling world is taking off in all scales. Is this due, in part, to the popularity of WNW?

Thanks for the news Mike.

Maybe the answer to your question lies in a complex of factors such as: the centenary commemorations; the influence of WNW; and a growing tiredness with yet more ME 109/Fw 190 etc variants

Incidentally, I notice on the Valom upcoming tab a 1/72 Bristol Bombay. Now, had I the time, that would really have interested me, but I've sold my soul to WWI modelling!

Best wishes
Nigel
