Moson always attracts a decent number of WW1 models and this crop is excellent.  The wing shading on that Oeffag D.III is remarkable and the Roland D.VI with the mechanic and pilot figures is just fantastic all around.  At first I just noticed the fuselage and the distribution of lighter and darker stain effects, but as I looked around the entire model the same degree of artistry was plainly evident.  Thanks for posting these images, Des!

The wood effect on those Albatross are really impressive. Looks for all the world like it's been carefully constructed from wood, rather than plastic.

Great collection, indeed. Absolutely beautiful, all of them.

BTW, I believe that Tischner's Roland is by Slava Vanous, registered here but seems not to be posting at all.

Yes, the Roland with the 2 figures is by Slava, absolutely wonderfull model! It won the gold medal in masterclass 1:32 aircraft. By the there were 3 Rolands in the competition and 2 of them won gold in Masterclass (the other winning in 1:32 with open service panels)

Bets regards,
Sasho

Then, I guess, the one with open panels was that by Szymon Grzywocz (Simon here at this forum). Well deserved awards!

nope, it was mine :) but the PE fret that I used to open the panels were from Szymon! By the way it is a product that needs final refinement and then can be marketed easily as noone else is providing such PE.....

Congratulations, SsashoO!!! Any chance to see the photos of your Roland? EDIT - it is here already... ;)

I also have that fret from Szymon, it only awaits my resolution to start working on that model.

One thing that I find a bit curious is I believe that the model cellar mechanic and pilot figures are based on a photo of Hans Pippart, but I've never seen the figures used to depict them with any plane in his markings. Just a silly observation.
