G'day.
http://lepidoptera.datahosting.com.br/fcm/escala/1-32 (http://lepidoptera.datahosting.com.br/fcm/escala/1-32)
I spotted these on ARC and thought they may be of interest. I really like the Bavarian lozenge scheme for a Jasta V D.III, but there's some other interesting markings as well.
Has anyone used FCM? Are they any good?
Cheers.

They have been around for a few years now. A long while back I got some 1/72 Alby decals from them as they had some interesting markings. The only thing I recall was that the carrier film was quite thick, but maybe that has been fixed now?

The carrier problem was fixed. FCM decals are now printed by Microscale, if I´m not mistaken.

Thats good news FCM. Im glad you are takingcare of the WWI enthusiasts.

Thanks for the info, Gents. I'll be placing an order.
FCM, the decals are on your site. Are they available now?
Cheers.

Thanks, FCM. I saw the "COMING SOON" but wanted to check (yes, sometimes "Impatient" is my middle name). I'll keep and eye out at Hannants and SB.
So, any plans for some more WWI sheets? :D
Cheers.

These look great. I searched everywhere for the Voss "Heart and Laurel" fuselage marking in 1;32 for my Roden DIII; now a year and a half later here it is! May have to build a second kit! I'll be watching the FCM site for availability; Thanks for bringing this up and I too would like to know about any future planned releases. I'll keep an eye on Hannant's and S.B.'s as well.
Cheers,
Lance

FCM,
Excellent news I'm glad you'll soon be printing your outstanding decals once again.
Highest Regards,

PS: Your test of Rumey's stripes look very promising.

Very nice to see some options for a non WNW 1/32 kit - they look great and will be a must buy for me.
If you create any new subject decal sets please consider some markings for the 1/32 Nieuport 17, SPAD XIII or Sopwith Camel from Hobbycraft/Academy - there is a real shortage of decals for those kits.
-
I'll second Petrov's ideal for markings for the Nieuport,SPAD XII,and the Camel.

I think Eduard bowed out of WWI kits didnt they? There are still some in the catalogue but theyre not doing any new releases let alone 1/32...as nice as that would be....

True, true but both Roden and WNW have got things on the horizon.

Oh nice! I'll have to do the Voss D.III

Very nice, and I do happen to have a WnW DVa in my stash. I'm off to have a look at your site.
Cheers,
Chris

Do you have a list of shops that will be stocking these?
Steve

Awesome, will be building the Voss D.III
-
Nice, Felipe, now I have to build the Hunzinger D.III too... :P :o :)

G'day, Filipe.
Excellent. As soon as I see the set for sale I'll be getting it.
Do you have any plans for re-releasing the Spad XIII set 32-03, with Barraca's aircraft?
Cheers.

I had problems with the old decal 32-03 due to its non-standard size for packaging / storage I have adopted. So I will have to reassemble those versions in new sheets to release further.
I also intend to reissue updating all the previous WW1 decals in 1/72 and 1/48 as well as create a lot of new ones targeting the centenary of WW1 starting in 2014. 8)

Felipe, I look forward to seeing the new sheets. When I got back I saw the notice from Hannants that your Albatros sheet was in stock and went straight to their site to order it- and it's already out of stock! <Insert numerous profanities here>
It's on back-order with them- hopefully you've got more stock on the way.

Dal, you can find a list here:

Thanks, UT. I've been through quite a few of the US, Canadian and European sites they give with no luck (in fact, only Hannants have listed as ever having them- the rest have a lot of his modern and WW2 stuff, no WWI). I tried a couple of the Brazilian sites as well, before deciding to put them on back-order from Hannants.
I can be patient, as it will be a while before I get to the D.III in any case.
Cheers.

Hello Dal, the new 1/72 decal for Albatros was just announced and the restock package was sent to SprueBrothers two weeks ago.
Just wait a little bit more... ;)
