This is my 12th finished build, the Aviatik Berg D.I flown by Frank Linke-Crawford. The build was not very easy as the whole upper surfaces are covered with decals. The construction of the spoked wheels was a thrilling story indeed.

Extremely well done, I can't even begin to imagine how you managed to do a spoked wheel ???

Thanks, Des.
The method for spoked wheels is simpler than is seems. :)

Easy for you to say! And to SEE! :o I am totally blown away! How on earth did you do those tiny hex decals? Beautiful and impressive work.

My goodness! That is one fantastic gem of a scratch build. I think we need to coin a new term for a person with your skills, something like "micromodeler". I would have to shrink myself to around 1/12th scale to build something like that and even then it would have to be from a kit, since I don't have the courage to attempt an entire model from scratch. Bravo!
