Apparently my wife is right...I talk too much. ;) ;D Not one to make a fuss, I will
throw caution to the wind and fuss away. I have finally made it to the lofty heights
of 2000 posts, and thinking about it reminds me of all the friends I have gained here.
I wanted to say thank you to Patrick in Belgium for his help and friendship. I am
lucky to call you a friend, even at a few thousand km's away.
I thank Des for creating this wonderful place for like-minded modellers to gather in
friendship and respect for one another. Not an easy feat, Des, but you have pulled
it off beautifully.
I am really grateful to all the people I have gotten to know here and who have taught me
so much in improving my model making (still a long way to go ;) ;D).
The talent I have seen on our forum is to me absolutely amazing. It seems there are
no limits to what can be done, and I am enthralled by what I continue to see here.
So thanks for all the good stuff up until now my friends, and I look forward to much
more ahead!
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Hello dear Ernie,
Although I didn’t have the time to wander around on the forum this last 6 weeks due to the loss of my dear Father-in-Law, I want to congratulate you on this milestone! Messages from Ernie are truly appreciated by everyone for there kindness, respect for everyone and a dose of humor. And more, the quality of your builds is outstanding. Indeed it is people like you that make the forum what it is, a second home and a base of knowledge. Up to 3000 my dear friend! Thank you for your kind words!
Very kind regards

I wholly agree with what others have written: your posts and models set a standard that we all aspire to Ernie. Always complimentary, always supportive and always your builds are an example for the rest of us to follow. You were one of the first to encourage me to continue posting when I was unsure about posting at all! Your continued encouragement is greatly appreciated. I only hope that I am able to offer the same support and encouragement to you and others.

Thank you, LM, for the kind words. Your talent is something I aspire to,
although your abilities in the teeny scale is way beyond me. Thanks again,
my friend.
Cheers,
Ernie :)
