Hello All
I think I am going to do my WNW Pfalz in the colours of Busso von Alvensleben. When I saw a picture it just grabbed my attention.
I have some pics of his plane but just wondered about the markings. Do I go for decals or the Montex Masks.
Decals £15 + p&p - Masks £8.50. I have never used a mask but reluctant to spend on decals when I will only ever use the 1 scheme.
Advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Simon

If you buy the Pheon decals you will not be disappointed and will probably be tempted to build another Pfalz. ;) The extras can go into your spares, used in experiments (always experiment before trying something new on your model!) or traded. Rowan is a friend of this forum and WWI aircraft modelling and worthy of our support. IMO.
My opinion on the masks is that if you are sufficiently advanced to use them it's not much of a leap to make your own. Also IMO :)

Hear, hear. Great decals and each set gives a world of possibilities.
Cheers,
Ernie :)

i like decals better, i am always afraid when i use a mask i will pull up paint or paint will bleed underneath . with a decal especially a pheon decal you know it will be good looking when you finish. just another mans opinion

Your good opinions of Pheon will push me in that direction. I totally agree with supporting people.
Thanks
