Hi all!
My latest model is resin kit of Simens Schuckert DDR.I.
Beautiful kit ,flexible resin almost without bubbles.
The propellers are my hand made from plywood.PE set from Eduard's Fokker DR.I.Motors are from "Vector" resin line (rebuild Oberursels to Siemens Halske). EZ line+ bob's buckles as usual. Painted with Vallejo acrylics.
Enjoy!

Great work

Exquisite rendering of a really unusual type. The translucent effect on the rudders is brilliant. Glad to read that this is a nice kit. I've been considering this one myself.
Cheers,
Bud

Wow, Pustota, this is just breathtaking! I think that Bud is spot-on with his comment on the translucence.
Best wishes

i have been wanting to get one of these, spin kits are hit and miss, the spad a2 is pretty decent but the ansaldo sva5 wasnt too impressive to me. i also have 2 of their triplane conversions the nieu 17 and pfalz d.iii. how did you like the kit, were there any major problems? i have never seen one built up you did an exceptional job.
-
Thank to all of you, guys. The kit build was just fine, i had a few resin kits before, that one the best of all.No special problems at all. The resin is flexible, thin, almost without a bobbles. The whole build you can see here: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_51491.html
It's in Russian but modelling have no language borders!
P.S. For the translucent effect on the rudders i used DES's technic described here: http://www.ww1aircraftmodels.com/page9.html
Thank you again!

A very impressive model. I love the rudder translucency, and the rigging is of the "for the grown ups" kind.
