Title: has anyone ever bought anything from sandle hobbies in australia?

i came upon this mail order buisness about 2 weeks ago and saw they had the 1/48 alliance aviatik 30.40 listed as available  so i promptly bought one. i got an email saying the order was recieved almost imediatley. it was listed with no shipping cost which i figured they would calculate and email when shipped . well i havent heard a word since,when i go to the site and go into my account it still shows the order as only recieved, it doesnt seem like its been shipped or even processed further. anyone ever deal with sandle hobbies.

I have done business with them. Never again!

I bought a book from them about 15 years ago. It took about a year from the time I ordered it for it to arrive. When I opened the package there was a note stating that the reason for the delay was because I provided the wrong shipping address, but they had never contacted me requesting the correct shipping address!

not sure i will check with my bank, it was a debit card and the amount was removed from my checking account.

Hello Albatros

Any update on Sandal Hobbies and your order?  I used to get their Ship Modelers Mailing List.  It was pretty interesting with lots of tips etc., sort of like here, but then the posts became less and less.  They (Shane and Lorna) Did push their hobby shop.  I never bought anything from them.  Hope you get your stuff.

nah no email response , my account status hasnt changed it just says recieved but yet nothing has happened.
