Gday Guys
Here are a few pics of the beginning of the next project,
which seems to have taken over from all else. The others
are not forgotten ;)
All the best
DAVE
-
And some more bits - Prop
-
Some cockpity bits
-
Last but not least - Spot the scratch wireless
-
Great looking Puma, Dave, and a whole lot of fine detailing happening already. Another winner in the works methinks!
Cheers,
Lance
-
Thanks Lance, but I need to take better pictures.
You'd think I would have learned by now ;)
Have a good one
Dave
-
Splendid, KONG. Fine modelling, especially on the engine
May I ask what reference are you using for detailing Puma?
-
I used these two my friend, only I have done the
other carbs :)
-
and this fella ;) Hope they help
There is not a lot of info out there, is there?
Amazing work by the way 8)
Cheers
DAVE
-
Thanks for these two shots.
Indeed, thare is surprisingly little information. I am still looking for some reference regarding the fuel supply to the carbs. It seems like MI6 classified material...
-
I have tried to find data on the engine connections also.
Fuel, oil, you name it, but I suppose a lot of that stuff
unfortunately has been lost in the sands of time. I think
my friend that there will be a bit of modellers license to
ber thruthfull.
If i find anything else I will le you know Prezmol
Cheers
Dave
-
Absolutely true... But sad, I would really like to see the full plumbing and wires of Puma in DH.9! But I a afraid, our imagination will have to help, indeed.
-
No Worries ;) Like I said, if I find anything else, I will post it.
All the very best from New Zealand
Dave
-
Thanks. And I promise you the same...
-
Beautiful work on the engine Dave, all the little extras certainly have turned it into an authentic looking engine and the colours you used are excellent, the other bits and pieces all are taking shape very nicely as well.
Des.
-
Hello Dave:
The engine looks great. I like your oiled look but not overly done. Looks like it has seen service. The wiring and plumbing you have done add that additional interest to it. This is going to be a great build and I look forward to watching you work it.
Best
Mark
-
Thanks Mark, hope all is good with you and family.
We are heading for Winter down here, so will get
a lot done . . . Good to hear from you mate.

As usual, Dave, you're off to a brilliant start! That Puma looks like the real thing. Very impressive work on the other small bits, as well. You've become master of the wireless. Can't wait to see what other goodies you add.
Cheers,
Bud

Your cockpit is a jewel. You should make a framework out of glass, what a pitty to hide all this beauty!

A hard act to follow Dave- really top class work.
