I am Ssculptor and I work in mostly 1/32 scale or larger. My interest in WWI aviation was rekindled by the line of kits offered by Roden a few years ago. Then when WingnutsWings introduced their line of WW1 aeroplanes I really got hooked. I prefer the early WW1 aircraft with the crew sitting in a bathtub in front of the motor and with so many wires that a bird cannot fly through it.
I started making models in 1942 with the wood kits. I've built in most every material since then. I've built planes, tanks, ships, railroads on and off since then. I am a sculptor and have made Surrealist sculpture which included models of airplanes, tanks, etc. I make a living in the design/drafting field.
I reside in Connecticut, USA.

How do I start a topic on this forum? I have been searching this site for 15 minutes and cannot figure out how I can ask a question about the construction of a certain old model kit I have :-\ to repair or obtain new parts for. I am befuddled. Help.
Thank you.
