Hi all,
This is the first time I’m presenting a build in the Completed Models. I’m pleased with it and I think it shows a decent progress to my two other builds (SE5a and Sopwith Tripe). The kit is Roden 1/32 Nieuport c1 and I had few fitting problems
The scheme is the one from Lt. Quentin Roosevelt 95th Aero Squadron june 1918 in Gengoult
Decals are SuperScale
All paint Tamiya acrylic
Rigging lines the Shimano Techniumn fishing lines acquired from Steven. A bit thicker than the usual 0,12mm , 0,14mm is noticeable but very fine to work with.
The eyelets and tubes from (who else) dear Herr Von Bucklehoffen
The original seat from Roden was modified into a peach basket. I meanwhile got the seat made by Ron and that one is far better than mine and I would recommend it to everyone building this a/c.
I didn’t install the windscreen from the kit. Whenever I find the time, I’ll try to make one myself.
I would like to thank all those kind people (mostly always the same onces) who supported me through this build and gave me much of advice, and the build logs of those who built the same a/c were an invaluable help.

Lovely Ni28! Colourful, clean and crisp. Congratulations, IFF.

Patrick,
Glad to see you have taken some more pictures of your completed N28 - you have really done this kit justice and the chosen colour/marking scheme looks very striking - superb job.
I never noticed the missing windscreen - your right, the kit supplied tin (clear) plastic sheet is not easy to cut and apply so sourcing another one is probably a good move.

Dave

Hi Patrick,
You have produced one fine looking 28c1. Now give yourself a pat on the back from me ;)

I agree with all that has been said about your Nieuport! I will add that your work on the interior(seat) was also outstanding! Lovely results!!

Hello Des, Rick, Ernie and Nigel,
Thank you all for your flattering words! I enjoyed the build very much and this a/c is certainly a favourite of mine. It's an elegant design as Nigel said and besides that the Roden kit was not bad at all. Thank you all you great modelers for your appreciation and encouragement.
Kind regards

That is a real cracker of a model ad what a finish! The nose markings alone would have given me the wobbles! I think that you seriously under-estimate your skill and patience - that model is a prize winner and if you do not believe me just enter it for a competition and see.

Hello LM,
What nice words on my build. Thank you very much. I am very patient, but indeed have still some doubts about my skills. It's only my 3th build ever, so I have everything to learn. And if I learn it is thanks to this wonderful forum and the people like you who encourage me.
Kind regards
Patrick
