Title: Fokker B.II resin bits
Post by: Checkers67 on April 03, 2014, 10:27:49 AM
I am missing the resin bits for the Secial Hobby K.u.K kit. Does anyone make a resin replacement engine? I think I can scratch build the rest.

Hi Steve,
Looks like the Fokker B.II used a 80hp Oberursel U.0 engine.  I think this is the same 7 cylinder engine that comes in the Eduard Fokker E.II/III kit, which features a 7 cylinder engine for the Fok. E.I.  You should be able to find the Weekender kit for less than the price of an aftermarket resin engine, and you will still be able to build the Fok. E.III or use the detail parts to upgrade some of the Special Hobby parts.

Can you not contact Special Hobby for the missing parts?

A friend has a einedekker for trade. That solves the engine problem. I did consider contacting Special Hobby, but I purchased a used kit. Thank you for responding.
