Hello, new member here. Been out of the loop modelling for a year or two.

WWI-wise I'm mainly interested in aircraft from the 1917-1918 era. 1/72 is my scale and currently have a Roden Fokker F.1 on the go.

In the past I've also made inter-war and WWII stuff in 1/72 and 1/48.

Pleased to be a member here and looking forward to learning lots from all the talented types here.

Hello Smithy and welcome to the forum, it is so nice to see you here. Looking forward to seeing photos of your Fokker F.1, 1:72 scale is beyond my capabilities but I have a lot of admiration for those who work in that scale.

Hi Smithy, nice to meet you. I'm tempted to try one of Roden's 1:72 Gothas or an Airfix Handley Page, but I think for the most part  I'll leave the real tiny stuff to you. Hope you enjoy your time here.

And James (Jamo) I'm originally from Auckland although live in Melbourne now. Actually here's a blast from the past - I'm pretty sure it was you who very kindly gave me some decals for Rhys Davids' SE5a (B'525) back in 2004 via The Aerodrome  ;)
