Title: Airco DH.2 (1/32, Wingnut Wings)
Post by: PrzemoL on February 08, 2014, 08:10:16 AM
Just finished, my vision of Leslie Aizelwood's Airco DH-2 7907 from B Flight of 32. Sqn. in September 1916.
The model has the engine replaced with the fantastic Taurus Models resin kit, otherwise no further modifications to the overall enjoyable Wingnut Wings product.

I agree with my Amigo wholeheartedly! I was going to mention the "Subtle" weathering as one of my favorite aspects of the build! JUST RIGHT, IMHO.

The rigging is outstanding and everything you have done works towards the overall look!

Absolutely spectacular, Prze!! Your version of CDL sets a new standard, the detail is beautifully done, and that prop a real beauty. You can be very proud of this little jewel and the talent you consistently bring to your projects.
Cheers, and looking forward to your next Project

A lovely model - the photos on WNM homepage look great as well.....  I'm not sure whether to tackle this or my Felixstowe next, but you may have convinced me to give the DH.2 a go!  I'll certainly be referring to your build log.

cheers
