Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ian and I have been model making now for about 45 years. Like most of my age, I started as a boy, but unlike most of my friends, I forgot to give the hobby up!! I have only recently got into the WW1 era. I was looking for a new challenge and the wiring has got me hooked. I am working on my skills, before I start a WNW Pup and Airco Dh2 after that. Currently, I am trying the new techniques on an Academy Camel and a Roden Se5a. I'll post some pictures later...
Kind regards
Ian

Welcome to the fold, Ian. With 45 years experience behind you I'm sure the transition to linen and wire will prove easy, and your approach of working on your skills before tackling the WNW Kits is sound. I'm sure you'll find all the knowledge, support, and encouragement you need here, great bunch of Folks!
Looking forward to your contributions and seeing your work.
Cheers,
Lance

Hello Ian and welcome. It's great to have you with us and what you write of your background will chime with many. Good luck with the preparatory technique work on the Camel and the SE 5a. I've got a WnW Pup and DH2 tucked away too for another day.
Best wishes
Nigel

Welcome to the forum Ian. As you are a modeller of many years experience, I reckon you will be very successful with the WWI models, and the WNW kits go together a treat :)
