Title: Morane Saulnier Type N. 1/32 S/Hobby
Post by: Andi Little on January 05, 2014, 08:20:36 AM
Well here we are - finally. My first ever WW1 aircraft, and probably my first aircraft build in forty years. A learning curve from the beginning, and built by myself but with the help and support of the forum membership. Many thanks chaps.

No fluff and bluster then: straight in with the pic's ... sink or swim.

Morane Saulnier Type N ... 1/32 Special Hobby.

This is really a spectacular build Andi, particularly since it's your first after many years.  ;D  I have built this kit, and it is no picnic, but builds up into a very nice model,  You have done an extremely fine job of it!  This is one of the best looking Moranes I have seen Andi!  I really like the colors, finsh and weathering, and your rigging is first rate.  Very well done!

Regards,

Bob

Hello Andi:

Outstanding workmanship all around.  This really turned out nice especially after a 40 year hiatus, really speaks well of your modeling and artistic ability and skills.

Best

Mark

Beautifully done all around! The weathering in particular strikes me as being very nice! As I stated in your build log the cowling finish also is OUTSATANDING!

Lovely job Andi, very nice and well done for seeing it thro  to a great "finished" result ........ Your well known painting skills shine thro' again.

If some "so in so " would stop picking up the  bargains on EBay I might have a go at this stuff myself

Your Ms N turned out to be a real beauty!!! I love the weathering and the CDL. I would add a little bit chipping to the spinner and the cowling though. One of the best MS N models I`ve ever seen.

definately swin. the morane looks great. one of my favorite planes. i have built 3,2 eduard 1/48 and one special hobby 1/32. your 1st aircraft build looks pretty much identical to my 30th which is about where this kit fell in my chronology. the weathering is slightly different as my cowl is more chipped and your wheels look better cuz i just used the kit wheels stock. so if this is an indication of things to come by all means bring it on mate.

Andi, that looks superb -

Linen staining looks good as does the detail to the Hotchkiss MG.

Did I hear 40 day break or was it 40 years?  :D
Either way you have produced a beautiful model, beautifully finished - well done!
