I am quite proud of this one - my main website has reached 400,000 hits tonight, this is an amazing figure for an obscure little site.

I wouldn't say "obscure" Des. It's a wonderful site. Many congratulations and a fine end of 2013 and a marvellous 2014!

Congrats .............it'll soon be a half mil' I'm sure. Trouble is with a place as good as this one equally wants to tell everyone about it - and at the same time keep it to oneself lest it should become too popular and attract those tiresome "look at me knowitalls"!!

I'm hoping the die is cast though and it shall remain the ever benign and fruitful collection of characters that it currently serves up.

Well Done Des' - and here's to a most excellent 2014 ...............  hip-hip ......  Huzzah!
