.........in a quest for some additional information about building my "WnW" Junkers J1, can anyone give me some info about interesting one or two "color" paint schemes for the model that may be easier for me as a novice builder??
Don't know what schemes there were, but hope to do something simple beyond the "flat green" (??)
( I'm debating selling or trading the kits, and I guess I'm looking for reasons to keep them ).

Hey Jim, actually 3 of the kit schemes are 2 color upper sides (green and mauve) with tons of room for interpretation of exact colors, pattern and application.
Do an image search on google on "Junkers J.I" and you will come up with many plausible ideas in the form of models and illustrations. You'll find some here:
