That's just perfect Rick! You appear to be a very talented figure artist. Any tips for those of us aspiring to such?
Cheers,

Nice figure, and you are getting better with your new camera. In particular you have achieved good white balance here. Now you need to work on your exposure so that you achieve a fuller range of tones, from white to black. In these photos ideally the background should be very close to white, with the deepest shadows on the figure approaching black. In this way you get a fuller dynamic range and a more pleasing image visually. Depending on the camera, you get there with adjustments to shutter speed, f-stop, and lighting. You can also use post production techniques to do all this ("photoshop" but almost all photo software these days has adequate tools for this stuff) but it is better to learn how to take a really good photo from the start...
I hope you don't mind my comments-- they are meant to be constructive, please continue to experiment!

Thanks Bob, I appreciate your very generous comments! There are several Modelers here that are doing Much better work than me,Larsa for instance but I will be willing to chime in if you decide to do a figure ;)

Bo, Thanks and absolutely no problem with the constructive criticism! This Camera has so many different Setting Options that it may take me YEARS to get it all sorted out ???

Hello Rick,
Very very nice figure, so well painted. What oilpaint do you use for that?
Kind regards

Patrick,
I use Mostly Windsor Newton but also some Grumbacher and others mixed in. I will try to look back on my build blog and see the formulas, although I think they may be available on my 120mm MvR thread here!. Thanks for the compliment!

Des,
You are one of the MOST TALENTED Modelers I have ever seen! I Truly believe if you tried a couple of figures you would be giving all of us Lessons! Thanks for the Compliment all the same!!

Hello Rick:
Nice work on Werner! I just haven't made the leap to figures yet. A little gun shy. You did a great job with this. Looking forward to more.
