Title: Is this a record?
Post by: Nigel Jackson on December 14, 2013, 05:01:21 AM
Hello All

Well this has been an interesting week. Back in mid/late November the wonderful folk at Pheon posted off something for me. Having made previous orders I know just what care Sabine and Rowan take over the packing and how quickly things arrive. I should point out that we live in the same country - France -  and, I'm guessing, about 4-500km door to door.

I waited and waited; nothing. Finally something sad and crumpled dropped through the letterbox last Tuesday. A stamped message on the packaging told me that it had been missent despite my address appearing clearly and accurately. Now where do you suppose it had been missent to? Paris or another part of France? No! Somewhere in the UK? No! Perhaps somewhere else in Europe? No! Oh, perhaps somewhere in French-speaking Canada? No! Would you belief that the stamped message told me that my little package of SE5a decals had been missent to Ho Chi Minh City? (which must be a round trip of at least 20,000 km). Beat that if you can.

But the story has a happy ending. Displaying wonderful customer service for something which was not their fault in any way, Sabine and Rowan replaced the order which duly landed today within 48 hours of posting.

Best wishes
Nigel

Glad to hear that you have received your decals in one piece Nigel, You can always rely on Sabine and Rowan, they are wonderful people who treat their customers extremely well.

Quite a bit of mail heading for Australia ends up in Austria, it does eventually get to it appropriate destination but only after doing the extra mileage, and time.

I have nothing but GOOD  ;D ;D to say about Sabine and Rowan @ "Pheon"!!
The French Postal Service makes the U.S. look sad by comparison!!
Recently, they sent me an order of decals, and it took a GRAND TOTAL of 6 days, from their doorstep in France, to mine in the central U.S.!!!
The U.S.P.S. can't even get anything across the U.S. in 6 days (lol).

A happy customer.............Jim J. -- "olfogey"
