This month has been the first month since the forum started that we have averaged over 100 posts per day, today is the 13th and as of 6.45pm we have 1312 posts, this is quite an achievemnet for a little forum, thanks guys for all your help in achieving this figure.

And thank You, Des, for providing us with the means to do!

You are the one to take a bow, Des. It would be nothing without your
boundless enthusiasm. You have done wonderfully, my friend! Thank you
so much for this forum...it feels like home.
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Congrats to you, Des. I think that speaks volumes for what a great site this is. People wouldn't post so much, if they didn't enjoy it!

Geez, I wander away to the Dark Side of AFV modelling for a couple of months only to return to find out that you fellows have been doing just fine without me. Congratulations Des and to everyone else who make this such a welcoming place for guys like me who struggle to build these rigged contraptions.
Cheers,
Chris

Congratulations, Des. Any success is just a reflection of your hard work and character.

Thank you Des for this wonderful place to be and many congratulations on the record braking figures. I feel at home on your forum from the other side of the world.
Kind regards

Des,
I believe it's all been so well said here already; Thanks!!

Congratulations, Des, and thank you for creating such a warm, friendly environment for us to meet and share our work and our ideas. We have all learned so much thanks to your endeavors.
Cheers,

Can only echo all the above sentiments. This is a wonderful forum run by a master modeller.

I'm another one to echo all that has been said, well done Des.
Cheers
Pete.

congrats Des - well done!

It's your fault, Des. If you hadn't made such a nice place we wouldn't come to visit so much. :)
Thanks for a great forum.

I've said it in other posts here, but it bears repeating..................."Thank You" for providing a friendly, accepting place to get advice and learn. THAT'S what keeps me coming back!! ;) ;) ;)
I've given up two other forums because they seemed full of egotistical stuffed shirts that only wanted to brag, and were not keen on sharing their "secrets". Didn't like "cliches" in High School, don't like 'em now, almost 50 years on.

Thanks Des for all the time and effort on our behalf to keep the forum going and spam free
-
Thank YOU, Des, for hosting such a wonderful forum where folks can come to learn about these wonderful flying contraptions and to gain boundless inspiration! :)

Des,
Congratulations my old friend.
Highest Regards,

It's been said many times, and I'll repeat it - Thanks Des!
This is my main source of inspiration and tips, all so willingly shared. Not a single stuck-up, self-centred, a**hole anywhere to be found: no-one trying to change history; no-one trying to insist that "their" way, or belief, is correct and everyone else is an idiot - so thanks also to all of you, fellow forumites, for keeping this such a friendly, helpful place to visit!

+1.
I also like to the wonders you guys can make... from the 1/72 to the 1/x scale scratch builders, there's lots of talent in this forum.
Thx to Des for not just putting together some of the most spectacular builds, but for this great site too.
Cheers

Let me join the praising chorus. Indeed, Des, it is you who deserves any kind of congratulations for setting and managing such a great place for us, WW1 modelling freaks! Many, many thanks, my friend!
