Title: Friedrichshafen FF49B (Top Gun, 1/72)
Post by: PrzemoL on December 13, 2013, 08:03:40 AM: So here it is, my rendition of the flag ship of Polish Naval Squadron - FF49B. It was bought in August 1920 in Gdańsk. Three photos showing it were taken on August 20th, 1920 during an inspection of the Squadron inventory at its base in Puck on Puck Bay, Baltic Sea. The White 1 apparently crashed during a flight over the bay on January 15th, 1921. However, another source claims it remained in service in Puck till 1924.

Filip, BTW, this model is huge. It may be hard to believe, but the span of this 72nd scale FF49 is almost the same as that of DH.2 in 32nd scale, which I have just started.
