Title: Hello from Silver wings in USA
Post by: Silver wings on November 24, 2013, 04:21:23 AM
Hi all ,

It is a pleasure to join this group. I have been modeling in all scales and models since 1954. Airplanes, cars, boats, trains, structures, dioramas, kits and scratch built. and have been a professional model builder for over 20 years. My current interest is building WW1 models in 1/32 scale, but I have to finish a Tamiya F4U-i Corsair in 1/32 scale first. I have acquired a  Wingnut wings Hanover C1 which will be my next build. I have read that there is a person making custom propellers for this as well as wheels but can't remember where  I saw it.  Great to be here.

Hello Alec and welcome to the forum, so good to see you here. The Wingnuts Hannover is a brilliant kit, you will get a great deal of pleasure building that model

The hand made laminated wood propellers are from Doug Craner, he has a shop here on the from  http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?board=45.0

The spoked wheels are made by Steven Robson, he also has a shop here on the forum  http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?board=53.0

Hope to see some photos of your Hannover build soon.

Des.
