Thanks for the heads up on this one Dal, I will certainly try my best to get there this year, sounds as if it is going to be a beauty.

G'day, Des.

I'm only there on Saturday, so hopefully I'll see you there.  If you were to enter your Taube or Voisin, you'd win best of show, Des.

I won't be entering the contests or club display.  I haven't finished my N.28 and won't have a chance to get anything from the farm before the show, as I'm driving to Melbourne for a friend's funeral tomorrow morning and won't get back until Thursday night.

Cheers.

G'day.

This year there were four WWI aircraft entered in the competition and one on the club display.  Mick Elsting's photo's can be seen at https://plus.google.com/photos/115412746644780315453/albums/5947341171280276385?banner=pwa (https://plus.google.com/photos/115412746644780315453/albums/5947341171280276385?banner=pwa).  Photo's of the four models entered are:

WNW Pfalz D.XII: https://plus.google.com/photos/115412746644780315453/albums/5947341171280276385/5947353350750242930?banner=pwa&pid=5947353350750242930&oid=115412746644780315453 (https://plus.google.com/photos/115412746644780315453/albums/5947341171280276385/5947353350750242930?banner=pwa&pid=5947353350750242930&oid=115412746644780315453)

I forgot to take my camera, unfortunately.  I was so busy with helping people put out their entries, helping with walk-in registrations and working in the Swap and Sell (I didn't buy one kit!), by the time I got a break the hall was packed and getting photo's would have been difficult.

There were quite a lot of 1/48 WWI aircraft kits for sale in the Swap and Sell on Saturday, from a number of different makers (Blue Max, Eduard, Copper State, Dragon, Legato and Tom's Modelworks are some makers I saw).  These were being sold by a club member, Gerry C.  What didn't get sold will probably show up on the tables at next month's club S&S.  I'll see if I can get a list from Gerry, if anyone is interested (PM me)?

Cheers.

Thanks Dal for the links to the model show, it appears to have been a very well represented show with a lot of models on display, there are a lot of very high quality builds on display, just a pity I couldn't make it to the show.
