Simply gorgeous, Rick! Excellent work from beginning to end, 'cept for that pesky tail skid. Brilliant job rigging and painting her.
Cheers,
Bud

Bravo Rick! Superb job. It's been a joy to follow the build from start
to finish. My efforts should turn out so good. Thanks for having us
along for the ride. Now about that tailskid... ;) ;D
Cheers,
Ernie :)

A very stunning model Rick, the painting, rigging and overall finish is superb, this plus a few other builds have inspired me to grab one of these kits, congratulations on a brilliant job. (I won't mention the tail skid ;))

She's a beaut Rick. Such a pretty airplane.

I do not like Ni-28, but watching your model is slowly begins to like :D
I like very much camouflage colors.
Now I'm waiting for the next model, whether you know what it will be ?

Thanks Jacek! In My Opinion the Nieuport 28 ranks with the Albatros DV/Va as one of the most beautiful looking designs of the Great War! My next project will be a WNW Fokker DVIIF, Erich Lowenhardt, Jasta 10.

Des,
Thanks, from a modeler of your talent the comments are greatly appreciated! I am glad that Dal and I have been able to inspire several Modelers to add this kit to their build list( although I am certain you will take the kit to a level I can only imagine)

Rob, thank you for your comments! As for the "Grubby" wheels, I tried something an old friend used to do on his Armor Models. I mixed some real dirt in with a carrier and spread the muddy mix on with a brush. Still need to perfect the technique!

I agree with all the above - looks great. All these lovely Nieu's being built at the moment!! They make me want to dip my toes in a non-WNM pond.
cheers

That is a magnificent model - I have never been a fan of the N28 but seeing yours I am beginning to think again. If I do attempt one it will have to be in God's Own Scale for reasons of space, but I can feel inspiration coming on.... Thanks for showing.
-
Hello, RAGIII -
Simply brilliant!!
Excellent job on one of Roden's better 1/32 scale kits. Are you going to paint in the tailskid?
Regards
Dave

Thanks for the comments! Like I said to Des, I am glad that Dal, Myself and others have inspired Modelers to build Nieuport 28s. It is a Lovely bird!!

As I said before, Rick, that's a really beautiful build, mate. I know what a pain it can be to set the top wing, so I'm doubly impressed with yours.

Dal.
dal,
Thanks again. The wing is tricky I guess, rethinking my assembly. I mounted the upper wing to the cabanes then attached the interplane struts. The only difference I note on your build is that you secured the rigging before attaching the upper wing. Could this be the difference? IDK!

Excellent work RAGIII and thank you for sharing the photos.
What is the outside diameter on the wheel?

What is the OD on the little canvas wheel cover if you don't mind my asking? Just curious
