I saw these announced on another site. The decals will have 12 subjects and the JN4 is supposed to be out by the end of the year. Neither are mentioned on Lone Star's website.
-
Have I missed something or is there now a 1:32 scale Jenny available somewhere????

Lone Stars decals for the Jenny are in1/48 scale. Des we can only wish and hope for a Jenny I'm afraid. But my fingers are still crossed for that day.

You and me alike Gregory, fingers also crossed for an Avro 504 :)

Mike West, owner of Lone Star Models, announced on Hyperscale forum that he will soon have the 1/32nd Curtiss JN-4 available for sale. The 1/48th scale Felixstowe F.2a flyingboat in both early and late versions will come out early next year. No exact dates were given for the Jenny and Felixstowe releases. The patterns for the JN-4 were done by Mr. West and the Felixstowe master patterns were created by a very skilled eastern European modelmaker.

The Jenny will be nice; the 1/48 Felixstowe, mindboggling.
-
I would pop for a 1/32nd Jenny.
-
The Nieuport decals are available now and pre orders are being taken for late January 2014 release of the Felixstowe.

There are some really nice schemes on that Nieuport sheet! Thank God they are 1/48th or I would be tempted to buy a couple more Roden kits....... :o

I have written to Mike West over at Lone Star models to see if he has any further information for us on his proposed 1:32 scale Curtiss JN-4 Jenny kit, if it all comes true this will be an excellent addition to the growing 1:32 scale WW1 aircraft kits already available. I will keep you informed.

Mike West from Lone Star Models wrote back to me today and informed me that he has several 1:32 scale kits in the works, three of them are WW1, the Hansa Brandenburg W.20, Tommy Morse S4C and the JN-4 Jenny, the Jenny will be out first. He did not give a release date so hopefully they will be available soon.

The Tommy Morse will be very tempting! I can visualize a Dwan Patrol Nieuport 28 with I struts and a Tommy sitting next to each other ;D

Very, very brave man to enter the WWI warplane modelling market in 1/32 scale.
I've a feeling that WNW will bring a Jenny out sometime in the new year.
-
whereas i think a 1/32 jenny would be a decent thing for lone star to do i doubt seriously that wnw will do a jenny ever but surely not within a year. i could be wrong but i just think there are to many other more important and more attractive airframes todo . what makes you think this dekenba?
-
It will be great to see a Curtiss Jenny from LSM, I too doubt if Wingnuts will do one but I'm pretty sure they will do an Avro 504 in the future.

It is a real shame that Mike has not given a release date for these new kits, it would be nice to know "roughly" when they might be available ;) ;)
