Post by: hwells on September 08, 2013, 12:16:09 AM
Hi all. i started this one several months ago. There were several gaps in the construction process due to work, but I'm still making progress. Now onto the pics.

Thanks for all the positive comments! Jacek I used Tamiya semi-gloss black for the cylinder heads and MM Metalizer aluminum for the lower half. I haven't really done a lot of weathering on it mostly because it's going to be covered up. The IP was done with Tamiya dark yellow(IIRC) and some burnt umber oil paint.

Thanks

Henry

Great work, Nigel -

The wood effect on your instrument panel looks very realistic.

Lovely work Henry, I really like your engine compartment with the "lozenge wrap' on the support frames, and the wood grain on the panel is phenomenal!
Cheers, and looking Forward to More!

Well at least you're making some kind of headway - in fact, impressive headway: your build style looks to be very clean and tasteful.

I work on the premise that it's a hobby not a race?? Although I embarrass myself on a daily basis with my lack of output.

Great Job!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the kind comments! Actually Andi, those pics were taken over about a 3 month period. I did work on the decals some yesterday and hopefully I will get the seatbelts done today. I picked up some of the HGW belts for it.
