More photos sent in by Royce Wilson taken at the Imperial War Museum, many thanks to Royce.

This is the 110hp Oberursal engine stated to be from Von Richthofen's Fokker DR.1 425/17 wreck.

  Ouch what a sad end to such a magnificent piece of machinery! Thank goodness for Imperial War Museum preserving such an important piece of history for all. Thanks Royce and Des for sharing this with your forumates.

Hmm was that top right copper tube (not sure on the exact name for it) bent during the flight or afterwards?

  That's one of the exhaust pipes.Most likely damaged in the crash I would assume .
